The secret's out. Out in the open. The newest frozen yogurt house in town, that is. It's called Fling.
Fling is located in Cliffhouse, beside Cafe Breton in Tagaytay. It boasts of using fresh yogurt that's made from a local farm and not just any processed & powdered version. By getting fresh produce from them, we're helping our local farmers in the process.
After we left Taaleña, we decided to get desserts at the Cliffhouse. I learned that there's a newly-opened fro-yo place in Tagaytay, so I knew that we had to try it. As we approached Fling, the blue and white colors of the store were inviting us to take a peek of what they have to offer.
Like Yoh-gurt Froz in Hobbes & Landes and The White Hat, Fling also offers an array of toppings such as almonds, cornflakes, almond granola, mango, kiwi, banana, muesli, blueberry, etc. Toppings are Php25.00/scoop. Servings come in 2 cup sizes- Regular & Large. They call their regular-sized cup as Casual and their large-sized cup as All The Way. Of course, I went All The Way.
Of course, I chose my 2 most favorite toppings- ripe mango and almonds. Fling's yogurt is a little strong than Yoh-gurt Froz's but a little less sour than The White Hat. As for the size of the cup, I noticed that their large-sized cup is similar to The White Hat's. I liked that they put whole almonds in my fro-yo and not slivers. It makes the munching more enjoyable because I get to taste the almonds much better.
One might think that having frozen yogurt in a cold & breezy Tagaytay weather is crazy. Well, I'd say it wouldn't hurt to have a Fling every now and then.
