I AM BACK!!!
Did you guys miss me? *grin*
Well, I am sure you did.
I'm also sure that you want to know where I've been and what I was up to these past few days. To those of you who clicked on the links, i bet you already know where I spent my 5 glorious days. And for those who are clueless, never fret because I am going to share with everyone my adventures, as always.
It was around June when I decided that I want to go back to Bohol to enjoy the sun, sand, sea and serenity. That was the time when I scouted for accommodations. When I went to Panglao last year, I stayed in Lost Horizon and stayed in Oops! Bar 2 years ago. This time, I want to stay in a different hotel. And that's where I found this beloved place.
Let me share with you the gorgeous Amorita Resort.
The moment I discovered this resort, I immediately placed my reservation, paid the full amount and sent my travel details. Shari Barro, the Sales Account Manager, of Amorita was accommodating and took care of my reservations. As soon as we arrived at the Tagbilaran Airport, the service van was already there to take us to the resort. When we arrived at the resort, we were warmly welcomed with a glass of cold sago't gulaman. Check-in wasn't a problem at all. I just filled out a short form and after about 10 minutes, we were led to our room.
We got their Deluxe Room which served as our home for 3 wonderful days.
I know you're dying to see it.
The room has 2 double beds and opens up to a beautiful garden. Cable TV and phone are available. They also have room service and complimentary drinks- coffee, tea and bottled water. Too bad they don't have wifi in the room. The bathroom is very nice too. Don't worry, it's doesn't have that open plan with clear glass wall design like most new hotels. So you can do your number 2 in privacy.
Bathroom amenities include the toiletries such as shower cap, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrush, cotton buds and cotton. My smile widened when I saw the hairdryer. Goodbye to bad hair days while in Panglao! *woohoo*
Now let me show you our garden. As soon as I stepped out of the room and into the garden, the sights were just relaxing.
The entire resort is filled with plants, trees and beautiful landscape. I'll share with all of you more photos of the place in my next post.
On my 2nd day in Amorita, a nice surprise made me smile when I got back to my room from an afternoon at the beach. Look at the before and after.
I guess they're constantly upgrading their amenities. Lovette.
Oh by the way, they also gave us an Amorita souvenir. Instead of the usual doorknob signs, they gave us a nice necklace which we can hang outside to indicate that we do not want to be disturbed. Creative.
I'm sure you want to know how much I got the accommodations for. Well, instead of paying the 'per night' stay, I got one of their packages. They have 4 packages- (a) Slumber; (b) Diversion- which includes diving; (c) Tourific- which includes tours around Bohol's famous spots; and (d) Romancing Amorita- for honeymooners and/or couples. Each package is good for a 2-night stay but of course, extensions are welcome.
As for me, I got their Slumber package which includes the following:
- 2-night Room Accommodation
- Daily buffet breakfast
- Round trip transfers (either from TAG airport or port, if you're taking the ferry)
- Choice of either a 1-hr full body massage or unlimited use of kayak and snorkel equipment
- Welcome delicacies upon arrival
- Welcome drink and cold towel (this was where my sago't gulaman came in)
- Daily complimentary bottled water in the room
Their charge is per person. So it's best to go with friends so you can share the expenses. Here's the breakdown for the Deluxe Room:
- Single occupancy- Php12,745.00/pax
- Double occupancy- Php7,270.00/pax
- Triple occupancy- Php6,130.00/pax
- Quadruple occupancy- Php5,560.00/pax
They also have 2 other types of accommodation- Garden Villa and Ocean Villa (which I'm aiming for when I go back to Amorita). You can find their prices HERE. As for the rest of their packages, visit Amorita's website.
Overall, I had a wonderful stay in Amorita and I'm definitely recommending this resort. Amorita might mean "little love" but it's BIG LOVE to me.
More posts on Amorita and my trip after this commercial so don't change the channel. *smile*
