A good friend of mine planned to meet our newlywed friends for coffee. And when I learned that the meeting place was at the Eastwood Mall, I decided to invite myself and tag along.
I have been to Eastwood Mall twice. It was before Christmas last year and they don't have that much stores opened. So naturally, I have to visit again. We arrived quite early for the set date so we decided to have lunch in one of the many restaurants within the mall's vicinity. My friend was craving for baby back ribs. Seeing that one of the restaurants with red chairs offer several varieties of pork dishes , we gladly entered Flying Pig.
The restaurant is small but the ceiling is high enough so one won't feel claustrophobic. As soon as we were seated, the server gave the menu and I started looking for a nice dish to order. My friend went for the baby back ribs and I went for the pig cheeks.

Classic French Onion Soup- Php185.00

Still no internet connection at home so I am here in Traders Hotel again posting away. This time, we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a 1-bedroom deluxe suite because the hotel ran out of non-smoking deluxe rooms. I love free upgrades! Too bad, Nestor wasn't with me so I wasn't able to take photos of the spanking suite.
Since I've already showed you our room last week, let's now get to the subject of food.
We were so lazy last weekend that's why we decided to just have room service. Plus, it was raining hard last Saturday, making us even more lazy to dine out. Their In-Room Dining menu is quite limited as it only contains 3-4 dishes per course but luckily, we were still able to find something that suited our cravings.
Mini Cheeseburger- Php185.00

The previous week has been a tough week for me. Why? Well, it's because my internet connection at home has been down since Wednesday morning. I've reported it to PLDT already but the internet is still dead. And yes, it's already almost the end of another week. Argh.
So instead of moping about last Saturday because I was and still am without a connection to the virtual world, I went to join the gang in Traders Hotel along Roxas Boulevard to give support to our friend who is currently taking the BAR exams.
I bet you're quite curious about the room and its interiors. As always, Nestor is with me so I just clicked away as soon as I entered the Deluxe Room.

My stay in City Garden Hotel won't be complete without sampling their food. Le Jardin is the hotel's restaurant. Since I was too lazy to go out even if I was starving to death, I preferred room service. To my delight, my food arrived just 20 minutes after I placed my order. Nice.
So, here they are...

Yang Chow Fried Rice- Php275.00

Pork Loin Ala Pobre- Php275.00
