The last time I visited Hong Kong was 1998. Over 10 years ago. I was with my family back then, got a tour package and only stayed for 3 days.
I wasn't able to see much of Hong Kong on that trip so I told myself that if I am going back, I'll make sure to experience the place. This time, I was with my bestfriend, made the itinerary myself and stayed longer.
Seeing the massive Hong Kong International Airport was one of the highlights of my trip. Being a Discovery Channel fan, I watched several special episodes on how Chek Lap Kok Airport came to life and I was impressed with the architecture of the structure. And believe me, it was as grand as what I had in mind.
The conveyor belt was long and see...light packers, eh?

I'M BACK!
Bespren and I went on our first-ever vacation together. Well, it wasn't our first time to go on a vacation but the first time for us to travel with just the 2 of us.
We had a fab fab fab time and I can't wait to share them all with you.
We got lost in the colorful streets of Tsim Sha Tsui and Central, we got lost in the MTR, we got lost in the many Avenida. But we eventually found our way to our destinations. It was fun to get lost once in a while. And more fun to get lost when you're with a great friend.
It was also good to know that Philippine Airlines served us good food. At least the shrimps were fresh and the noodles were not soggy. It was actually satisfying.

This is an unusual Sunday.
Unusual because I was up and about by 6:30am. I usually oversleep during Sundays. Anyhoo, what better way to start my day than a trip to the local market. A good friend will be visiting for lunch and I want us to share a hearty meal. While I was on my way to the market, I was thinking of what lunch will be. I was craving for meat and vegetables. So when I got to the market and saw the many vegetables all lined up, I knew exactly what I wanted.
As soon as I arrived home, I collected all my fresh ingredients and got started.

I woke up early today and decided to go to the wet market to get me some seafood. I was about to buy some Yellow Fin Tuna when I spotted fresh shrimps. The moment I saw the shrimps, a dish that I've always wanted to try instantly came to mind.
After buying the rest of the ingredients, I went home with much giddiness and anticipation.
After cleaning the shrimps- peeling the shells, removing the veins and washing them, I went to prepare my other ingredients.
