After checking in at the Island Cove Hotel and Leisure Park, it was time to explore the place.
One thing I enjoyed most in Island Cove Hotel and Leisure Park is their attraction called Animal Island. It's a mini-zoo filled with different wild animals.
To get to Animal Island, you can either take the tram or the carriage.
I turned off the fluorescent lights and basked in the candlelight from 8:30pm-9:30pm.
Last week, I had the chance to go to Island Cove Hotel and Leisure Park with some friends. It was my first time to go so I was pretty excited. I've been hearing about Island Cove ever since I can remember. On our way to Cavite, my friend handed me the map of the resort and that's when I realized how big the resort is.

They have the Island Spa, Hotel at the Island Cove, Oceania Water Park, Grand Ballroom, Cottages, Function Halls, Pavilions, Island Songs KTV, Gym at the Cove, Fishing Village, Adventure Zone, Petting Zoo and Animal Island Wildlife Sanctuary.
Island Cove Hotel and Leisure Park is only 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours away from Manila (it all depends on the traffic). I suggest you leave between 10am-11am, if you're going there on a Saturday, so there won't be much traffic. As soon as we arrived at the Island Cove, we went straight to the hotel to check-in.

How I wish it was the real Shinjuku in Japan. I'd love to see the skyscrapers, the busiest train station in whole of Japan and the neon-lighted streets. But since I am still on my planning stages of visiting Japan, I'm happy to visit Shinjuku Ramen House for now.
The energetic "Irasshaimase!" of the wait staff greeted us as soon as we walked in. In a few minutes, our nourishments arrived.

Before heading home from a weekend getaway yesterday (which I am going to share with you all later), I visited Greenbelt first to meet a good friend and to grab a late lunch. Not really knowing what food I want to eat, we wandered around the place. Have you ever experienced getting hungry and yet do not know what you want to eat? What cuisine you want to have? What food you want to enjoy? Well, I experience that sometimes. After minutes of rounding up the entire area of Greenbelt, I thought I saw a nice restaurant along the stretch of Greenbelt 5 which wasn't there the last time I dropped by.
That's when I saw Lorenzo's Way.
Recently opened its doors to the public last March 2, Lorenzo's Way is the newest restaurant in town. Even though it's a new food place, it is also familiar. Now why familiar? Well it's because Lorenzo's Way is a member of the LJC Group.
As we wound our way to my table, my eyes feasted on the lovely and cozy hues of the restaurant's interiors. They played with different wood stains such as oak, walnut, maple and mahogany. The subdued lighting added drama to the entire space. After being seated, the menu was handed to me which I excitedly opened. Their menu consists of various dishes borrowed from the other restaurants of the LJC Group. I recognized dishes from Abe, Bistro Remedios and Cafe Adriatico. Lorenzo's Way is like this CD compliation of artists under one record label containing all of their best hits. After placing our orders, the wait staff served us 2 small glasses of iced tea on the house. Must be their welcome drink to their diners.
