The past weeks were sooooo hectic that I needed to get away from all the stress and the craziness. Unfortunately, I can't afford to go out-of-town because of some commitments I made for the weekend. So to change the scenery, the ambiance, and the atmosphere, I decided to check myself in at The Malayan Plaza.
Even though I so wanted to stay at The Linden Suites, my let's-try-something-new attitude got the better of me. Therefore, I found myself, one Saturday, boarding the elevator going to my Studio Room at The Malayan Plaza in Ortigas.

As soon as I entered the room, I instantly knew that I'll have a relaxing weekend.
Oh, I forgot the mention that I have a balcony.
And this was my view.
I know you've been dying to know how much I got the room for. Well, I didn't book directly at the hotel. I went online and booked the Studio Room through Asia Travel for Php3,200.00. It's a lot cheaper, I tell you. About Php1,400.00 cheaper if you'll get the published rate from the hotel.
And the accommodation came with free buffet breakfast for 2 at the hotel's Q Bistro. Just don't expect a lot from the food selection. But hey, for the affordable price I got, the breakfast was a bonus.
Overall, I had a pleasant and relaxing weekend. So how was your weekend?
