i spent my entire Saturday sleeping and when i woke up around 6pm, typhoon Frank was beginning to let itself be felt to the rest of the people in the Metro. i looked at my fridge and saw that i only have water, ice cubes and fresh lemon. no food. since I can't go out, my only option is delivery. but when I looked at my wallet, i only have Php150. darn it, i forgot to go the ATM and withdraw before going home. so I checked which fast food or restaurant has a delivery service and accepts credit cards. well, it's gotta be Shakey's!
i was so glad when i gave Shakey's a call and told me that they accept credit cards for deliveries. sooooweeeet! so i placed in my orders and after about 45 minutes, my food arrived. the delivery guy handed me my orders, got out this portable terminal and swiped my card. he gave me the printed receipts which i signed and that's it!

credit cards, as long as used properly, are life savers.
