OOPS! I MISS PANGLAO ISLAND
i went to Panglao Island, Bohol on a budget trip last summer and stayed at a backpacker's inn. whenever I go to the beach, I'd often take budget accommodations because I always find myself spending most of my time on the beach, even at night. so Ninang and I got ourselves a nice cottage for our 4-day stay in wonderful Panglao, Bohol.
the name of the hostel is Oops Bar! it has 6 cottages which can accommodate 3 people (2 adults and 1 child) and it has a bar where the party gets hot every night. both the bar and the cottages are being managed by this fantastic Cebuano owner, Uly. The cottages are made of bamboo and other native materials that are used in building a bahay-kubo. every cottage has its own toilet and bath and private balcony. by the way, all cottages have fans, no aircon. The best thing about Oops Bar! is its location. just a few steps from the cottage, you will be welcomed by the glorious beach and pristine waters of Panglao.

all rooms in Oops Bar! are good for 2 adults and an extra bed is available for one child with an additional charge of Php300.00. There are 2 single-detached and 2 split-type/duplex cottages. Below are the prices:
- Single- Php900.00/night
- Duplex- Php800.00/night
Breakfast per house guest is only Php100.00. Choice of either an American or Filipino breakfast. For our entire stay, we went for the American breakfast which consists of several strips of meaty bacon, toasts, unsalted butter, marmalade, coffee or tea and fresh fruit shake.
And you have the fantastic view of the sand, sun and sea while having a sumptuous breakfast.
