one fine day, i got a text message from jongster, "Incognito Concert. Sofitel Hotel, March 14."
after i read the message, i opened Edu in a flash, logged on to my Yahoo Messenger to send a PM to jongster, went to the Philippines Jazz Festival Manila website and went to Ticketworld website. i also got palpitations, my hands were clammy and sweaty and i felt like i was about to explode!
INCOGNITO. man, i love them. No..make that ADORE them. if i only have money to burn, i'd be in UK's Jazz Cafe to meet the extremely talented Bluey and the rest of the gang. i will also shamelessly follow them in the Tokyo Jazz Cafe, in Italy, everywhere they go. i am a BIG acid jazz fan and a big INCOGNITO fan.
you guessed right, i have their albums. i had most of them shipped to me because I rarely find a CD copy of Incognito in our record bars. my most favorite album is the Incognito: Live in Tokyo. they were soooo wicked! i truly truly truly love them. that's the reason why i made a mad dash to the ticketworld booth as soon as i had the chance to buy tickets to the INCOGNITO Concert!
i have the tickets! i have 'em! i have 'em! i have 'em! *stupid smile*
i am so excited...even giddy. finally! i am going to see Incognito, i am going to hear their fantastic acid jazz music, i am going to feel that great groovy vibe again and i will be able to get some serious soul food.
